Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Visanow AI, Inc. ("Pawlogue", "we", "us") handles information when you use the Pawlogue mobile app and the pawlogue.pet website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we handle

• Pet audio. When you start a listening session, the app accesses your microphone to capture your pet's sounds. This audio is analyzed on your device. It is not sent to our servers by default.
• Your pet's dictionary. The labels you teach (for example "food call") and the sound patterns they map to are stored on your device, and backed up to your account only if you enable cloud backup.
• Account and waitlist data. If you join the waitlist or create an account, we process your email address to contact you about the Service.
• Optional, opt-in contributions. If you choose to help improve Pawlogue, we may receive anonymized, non-reversible audio representations (embeddings) and the labels you confirmed. We do not receive raw room audio through this option, and it is off unless you turn it on.
• Basic usage and device data. Like most apps, we process limited technical and analytics data (app version, device type, crash reports, feature usage) to keep the Service working and improve it.

2. How we use it

• To provide the core features: reading your pet's mood and learning your pet's personalized dictionary.
• To send you Service messages you asked for (waitlist, beta access, important notices).
• To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve accuracy.
• With your explicit opt-in only, to improve our models using anonymized contributions.

3. What we never do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not upload your raw recordings without your action.
• We do not use Pawlogue to diagnose medical conditions. It is not veterinary advice.

4. Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run the Service (for example hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and email delivery), under contracts that limit their use of it. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public. If we are ever involved in a merger or acquisition, we will continue to protect your data under this Policy.

5. Your choices and rights

• You can use core features with audio kept entirely on-device.
• You can turn the opt-in data contribution on or off at any time in settings.
• You can delete your pet's dictionary, your account, and your waitlist email by contacting us.
• Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. We honor these requests.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including keeping audio on-device by default and using anonymized, non-reversible representations for any opt-in contributions. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Children

Pawlogue is intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Bystanders and shared videos

If you record or share a video that includes other people, please make sure you have their consent before sharing it to third-party platforms. You are responsible for content you choose to share.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the US, your information may be processed in the US and other countries, with appropriate safeguards where required.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above. Significant changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
